WATER FUN AT LAKE HEMET

Water fun has adapted here at Lake Hemet. Many years ago, we offered a paid, inflatable water park for guests to enjoy, but in 2020 we elected to instead begin offering water access as a free amenity for all overnight camping guests through a dedicated swim area.

We love being able to offer our Splashing Eagle Swim Zone during our summer season. This swim zone features a private beach (location varies each summer due to water level), where guests can cool off. Overnight camping guests are offered water access exclusively in this area and are welcome to bring their favorite water and beach toys. Life vests are provided for all swimmers and are required for guests under 48 inches.

SWIM BEACH RULES (For Your Safety and Enjoyment)
- Proper swim attire only. Toddlers must wear swim diapers available for purchase at our front market.
- Swimming is allowed in designated areas only
- Rough playing is not permitted
- Lifeguard and Beach Attendant instructions and directions must be respected and adhered to
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Life vests are recommended for all swimmers (required for anyone under 48”) and are provided free of charge
- Dogs are permitted inside the swim zone but may not enter the water (lake water is unsafe for dogs specifically).
- Fishing is not permitted in the swim area

SWIM TIMES
In order to avoid crowding, guests must choose from one of two swim times to enjoy during their stay:

FIRST SESSION - 11am TO 2:30pm
SECOND SESSION - 3:30 TO 7pm (may close as early as 5pm if attendance is low)

The swim zone is closed daily from 2:30 to 3:30pm for our beach staff to enjoy a break.

Oversized inflatable rafts and boats are not permitted on the lake or in the swim area but personal flotation devices are. Guests are welcome to bring their favorite inflatable water toys to enjoy or purchase some from our onsite retail shop.

Note: For the safety and enjoyment of guests, the swim zone has a maximum capacity. Once we reach the guest maximum, we are required to rotate guests in 20–30-minute increments. Like any popular amenity during busy days, you may have to wait in line. We thank you in advance for your patience during these periods.

CLOSURE NOTICE: The swim zone will close if air or water temps are deemed too cold, thunder or lightning is present, in the event of significant rain, or if water quality, visibility or algae levels deem it to be unsafe.

SWIM BEACH RATES 
FREE for overnight camping guests with a valid reservation Thursday through Monday of each week.
Day Use guests may enjoy the swim zone, space permitting, for $5 per person + the day use vehicle fee of $25.
The Swim Zone is only available to Day Use guests on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday each week
(no day use access on Saturdays or for holiday weekends).
Space is limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Once we reach capacity, no day use will be permitted.
