May 11th through July 27th, join us at Lake Hemet for the Great Carp Round-Up! We are excited to announce what will be an ongoing effort over the 12 weeks to clear a tremendous amount of carp out of Lake Hemet. We need your help to accomplish it.
HERE ARE THE DETAILS: Every Sunday both day use guests and overnight campers are invited to participate in a carp catching derby to remove as many carp as possible.
HOURS: Derby will run from 7am to 5pm
COST: Registration is FREE. Day Use guests still pay $25 per vehicle entry fee + fishing access fee.
WHO? Anglers of all ages.
WHAT? All day carp derby with a prize for registrant who collects the most carp that day.
WHERE? Carp derby will take place in a specific area where there is a large concentration of carp at Lake Hemet.
WHY? The amount of carp we have are negatively impacting the lake and it’s time to make a concerted effort to rid the lake of as many as possible. 

Special permission is being given to anglers for bow fishing on Sundays. Bows will need to be inspected and used in a designated area. For more information please email us at: info@golakehemet.com

CAMP & TREAT AT LAKE HEMET 
Join us for our 6th annual Camp & Treat event!
Saturday, October 25th from 2-5pm
Campers of all ages dress up and follow our custom treasure map through the campground to collect candy, unique prizes and special promotions from 15 stations.
